Speaking
In Django, we have a powerful tool called ORM to manipulate databases easily. For small queries, it can be quite simple, but what happens when you need to do tricks like nested queries or computed values? One of the answers is query expressions. In this talk, we'll learn how to power-up queries with them by walking through comparisons and examples with a dataset.

Same talk as above, but presented at a different Python/Django-related conference.
Same talk as above, but presented at a different Python/Django-related conference.
In this talk, we'll explore how to save time by automating repetitive tasks using Python's Flask and the IFTTT platform. We'll learn together how to easily combine these tools, giving you the skills you need to make your digital life more efficient and straightforward.
Volunteering
In 2018, I had the privilege of co-organizing the Django Girls Recife event at Vinta Software, in collaboration with my colleagues Amanda Savluchinske and Déborah Mesquita.
Our goal was to create an empowering and supportive space for women to learn about Django and enhance their coding skills.
The event was highly successful, marked by strong attendance, engagement, and a eagerness to learn among the participants. The opportunity to promote collaboration and diversity in the tech industry was a truly rewarding experience.
As a volunteer Marketing Specialist and Software Engineer at CITi, the tech-focused junior enterprise of the Federal University of Pernambuco, I wore multiple hats. I contributed to software development while also leading marketing strategies to promote our consulting services and engage with the community.
Also served as Infrastructure Coordinator for the 27th edition of the annual Jornada de Cursos event, where I successfully managed technical logistics to ensure a seamless course offering experience for participants. Additionally, designed and developed the event website, enriching my expertise in UI design.
Awards
Won 1st place in the first edition of Code in the Dark in Recife.
It is a front-end (HTML, CSS) competition where each contestant compete to implement a website design given only a screenshot.
