In Django, we have a powerful tool called ORM to manipulate databases easily. For small queries, it can be quite simple, but what happens when you need to do tricks like nested queries or computed values? One of the answers is query expressions. In this talk, we'll learn how to power-up queries with them by walking through comparisons and examples with a dataset.

Volunteering

Recife

In 2018, I had the privilege of co-organizing the Django Girls Recife event at Vinta Software, in collaboration with my colleagues Amanda Savluchinske and Déborah Mesquita.

Our goal was to create an empowering and supportive space for individuals who identify as women to learn about Django and enhance their coding skills.

The event was highly successful, marked by strong attendance, engagement, and a eagerness to learn among the participants. The opportunity to promote collaboration and diversity in the tech industry was a truly rewarding experience.

Also served as Infrastructure Coordinator for the 27th edition of the annual Jornada de Cursos event, where I successfully managed technical logistics to ensure a seamless course offering experience for participants. Additionally, designed and developed the event website, enriching my expertise in UI design.
